River and Rail Bakery opened its doors on March 1, 2011.  Owned by Kim Baker, the bakery started small, with fresh bread, pastries, coffee, and espresso.

Kim began baking as a preteen, making rolls for Sunday dinner.  She continued baking as a mom of three children.  The picture featured here shows her two oldest children (now grown) forming bread.
